Apple BBQ Sauce
- Sauté the shallots and garlic in 2 T. of VOM FASS San Gimignano Extra Virgin Olive Oil on low heat for 5 minutes.
- Whisk in the VOM FASS Apple Balsamic Vinegar, mustard, molasses, and tomato paste; then add VOM FASS Pyramid Sea Salt, thyme, and bay leaf, and simmer on low for 5-10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, add cornstarch to the water to make a slurry and whisk into simmering sauce. Bring sauce to a quick boil low to ensure full thickening.
- Whisk in the remaining 2 T. of olive oil and VOM FASS Apple Brandy, and remove from heat.
- Adjust final seasoning with VOM FASS Pyramid Sea Salt, Pepper, and hot sauce as Desired.
