In spring, you can smell bear's garlic in the wild and in vegetable gardens. A relative of the chive, this vegetable produces a fragrant oil that has a slight sharpness that goes extraordinary well in dressings, dips, pasta, and for seasoning of soups (potato cream soup for example). To retain this oil's fine aroma - do not overheat.
