Kat’s Fried Cabbage

This is truly a comfort side to go with dinner on a cold winter night like that coming our way this weekend. Delicious cold too. Thanks Kat for another awesome creation from your kitchen.

Ingredients: (serves 6-8)
• 1 Cabbage sliced thin
• 5 strips of Bacon
• 1 lg. onion chopped
• 1 TBLS vomFASS Sun Meadow Cooking Oil
• 1 TBLS vomFASS Smoky BBQ Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions:
1. Fry bacon in a skillet, reserve the grease. Take Bacon out of skillet, set aside.
2. Add onions to bacon grease sauté until tender and translucent, about 5 mins.
3. Add Sun Meadow and Smoky BBQ Oils to pan.
4. Add the Cabbage stirring frequently about 15 to 20 mins until cabbage is soft and tender. Chop up the bacon that you set aside and toss with the Cabbage.
